As you know, community solar capacity is fluid. While it's always our aim to connect customers to projects as quickly as possible, limited capacity can lead to longer wait times. Enter the Think Community Solar Promise -- a program that was designed to show our commitment to allocating customers.
This program is no longer active -- it only applied to those enrolled by October 31, 2023 -- but eligible customers may be coming up on their one-year anniversary of enrolling, and have questions about redeeming their gift cards. Here's what you should know:
What were the program details?
If a customer enrolled with Think Community Solar and was not allocated to a project within 12 months, they'd be eligible to receive a $50 cash gift card. (Remember: This only applies to customers enrolled by October 31, 2023.)
How do customers redeem their gift cards?
Once they reach the one-year anniversary of enrolling with Think Community Solar, eligible customers have 90 days to redeem their $50 cash gift card by emailing careteam@thinkcommunitysolar.com. Our Care team will confirm the customers' eligibility and, if they have not been enrolled within 12 months, we'll send them a $50 cash gift card.
