"Individual commitment to a group effort -- that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work."
That's not a direct quote from new Think+ Partner Kirk Horan, but it might as well be. Those words, famously said by legendary football coach Vince Lombardi, immediately came to mind when we spoke with Kirk about his journey as a Think+ Energy Advisor.
Even when asked specifically about his own personal goals, Kirk's answer referred to the people around him: "Personal goals for me are pretty simple," he told us. "I love to win and love seeing my team win. I take great pride in seeing the people I am working with on the leaderboards and achieving real results."
From his initial introduction to the company through Big John Pyonteck, Kirk found a sense of purpose that he could commit to; a place to plant his flag, staying motivated by prioritizing those closest to him.
"I think about the sacrifices my mom made for me and my brothers," Kirk said. "I will always keep charging to give my wife and sons a life they deserve, rather than settling for what is the norm. A life where we don’t have to punch a clock and we can comfortably live life on our terms."
As Kirk looks at the future of sustainable energy and the potential impact of Think+, he has set ambitious goals for himself -- to achieve the rank of Senior Partner -- and all of Think+: "I would love to see us shatter every record in this industry on our path to being a multi-billion dollar company," he said.
Kirk's passion can serve as a powerful reminder that teamwork, commitment, and a shared vision are crucial elements in achieving long-term success.
