Our Race to Protect One Million Trees
This past Earth Day, we announced our goal to protect 1 Million Trees through our partnership with Tr[1]be. We’re beyond excited to announce that thanks to your support, we have now surpassed that incredible goal!
Starting April 1st, Think Energy increased our partnership by protecting not just 50 trees, but 100 trees for each customer enrolled until we reached our 1 Million Trees Protected goal. When we started, Think Energy had already safeguarded over 460,000 trees since February 2023 and with your help we’ve more than doubled that since the beginning of April!
As an Independent Energy Advisor with Think Energy, your efforts contribute to environmental solutions both locally and globally. Think Community Solar allows us to amp up green energy production in local communities while our partnership with One Tribe protect rainforests worldwide.

Why protect trees in the rainforest?
Rainforests are the lungs of our planet, the natural solution to climate change that remove and store CO2 from our atmosphere. Tropical deforestation is 15% of net global carbon emissions each year. Halting tropical deforestation and allowing for regrowth could mitigate up to 50% of net global emissions through 2050.
How does Tr[1]be protect rainforests?
Tr[1]be connects Think Energy directly to rainforest protection charities so every sale contributes a donation to help protect rainforests and the indigenous tribes and biodiversity that call them home. The rainforest charities then fund on-the-ground projects to save and continually protect the land.
