In Massachusetts, customers must reside within designated areas known as “Green” or Opportunity Zones to receive these benefits. Green Zones or R2 meters are required for all LMI enrollments in Massachusetts, subject to available LMI capacity.

Currently, LMI availability in Massachusetts is limited to Eversource markets. If prospective customers do not qualify for LMI benefits, we will keep their information and work to allocate them if/when Open capacity becomes available.
