What do you need to know about the Eversource/NSTAR system update in Massachusetts? 

At the end of May 2024, Eversource/NSTAR in Massachusetts performed a system update, which included issuing new account numbers and resulted in a short-term blackout period. 

Effective May 29, please be sure your customers upload a copy of their electricity bill during enrollment, as it’s important that we capture this information: 

  • If your customer has an old bill, they’ll need to provide the Account Number and Meter Number during their enrollment.
  • If your customer has a new bill, they’ll need to provide the Account Number and Pod ID.
